Student Leadership is open to any students in Grades 4-9 who would like to become ambassadors of Wabamun School and participate in leadership activities to support a positive and fun atmosphere.

The Student Leadership Program promotes a healthy school environment with a positive school climate where students have opportunity to participate in school events.
Purpose
Student Leadership Program will provide an opportunity for students to participate in leadership roles and to develop leadership qualities.
Some activities and responsibilities Student Leadership Members may be involved in include:
- Promoting and participating in Dress up Theme Days
- Fundraising through Candy Gram Sales, Concessions or WE Day planned events
- Greeting visitors
- Recycle Program
- Classroom Helpers
- Library & Book Fair Helpers
- Lunch Time office Workers
- Garden Tower Monitors
- Health Champion Activities
- Student Led Assemblies
Most Leadership activities take place during the school day recess breaks, with the exception of the occasional WE Day activity, for which parents must sign a permission form allowing their child to participate.
