I am looking forward to teaching a combined class of Grades 4/5 this year. There are so many new and cool things to learn. For those that don’t know me, this is the second year I have been teaching at Wabamun School. I have been a classroom teacher for a very loooong time, since 2002 to be exact! Fun fact, I also grew up in a family of teachers as both my parents were also teachers.  One of my favorite things to do is to help others become the very best version of themselves, so being a teacher is a perfect fit for me! I also love learning about new things and I am especially excited to learn all about the Silk Road and how trading routes had an impact around the world in Social Studies. I am also the lucky mother of two wonderful children and one special golden retriever named Coral. Both of my children have gone to Wabamun School, so I feel lucky that I get to work in the same building as my kids and get to enjoy being a part of the school too!
